Surprise for Mickey Mouse is a Little Golden Book published in 1971 to coincide with the opening of the Walt Disney World resort.
Synopsis[]
Mickey Mouse is resting in his backyard when his nephews Morty and Ferdie hand him a telegram addressed to him. The telegram says that Walt Disney World is going to have a "Mickey Mouse Revue" and that Mickey will be conducting the orchestra. But while the nephews and Pluto are packed and excited to go, Mickey is disappointed that none of his friends seem to care about the news. When they reach the Magic Kingdom and arrive at the Fantasyland Theater (where the Revue is taking place), Mickey is surprised to see all his friends as the members of his orchestra.
